The Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies has voted in favor of a bill that legalizes marijuana possession and cultivation at home.

On a party-line vote, the Wisconsin Senate rejected a marijuana legalization measure.

The U.S. Cannabis Council, along with its member marijuana companies, have launched a “Legalize America Super PAC” to “raise cannabis’ profile as a national topic in the election of 2024 and beyond.”

Arizona Department of Revenue reports that recreational marijuana sales in Arizona exceeded $100 million monthly for the first time ever in March.

Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis (currently Florida’s Governor) said that “deadly” force should be used to stop people who are suspected of smuggling illegal drugs across the border.

Two new co-sponsors have been added to the 59 total for the House marijuana banking legislation.

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, a Democrat, said that he was proud of the state’s “quick” implementation of marijuana legalization. Separately the Attorney General toured a cannabis-processing facility.

Delaware lawmakers sent Gov. John Carney’s (D) budget bill that includes funding for marijuana legalization.

New Jersey legislators sent Gov. Phil Murphy (D), a New Jersey legislator, sent Gov.

The Pennsylvania Senate Law and Justice Committee has approved a bill that will remove the restriction that prevents doctors from advertising they can issue medical cannabis recommendation. Separately representatives discussed the prospects of broader marijuana legalization.

New Hampshire regulators have announced that medical marijuana dispensaries in the state can now accept patients from out of state.

California Highway Patrol has awarded grants totaling more than 19 million dollars in marijuana revenue to combat impaired driving.

Nevada regulators have posted an update on a new law that will increase the possession limit for marijuana.

Alaska’s Advisory Task Force on Recreational Cannabis will meet on Saturday.

According to a study, “formulations containing cannabis significantly reduced anxiety, depression, fatigue and the ability of participants with anxiety disorders to participate in social activity.”

In a study on mice, total phenylpropionamides extracted from hemp seeds “improved memory, improved survival, attenuated inflammation, oxidative stresses, microglia activity, hippocampal cell apoptosis and reduced amyloid deposition.”
