The House Oversight and Accountability Committee has approved a bill that will prevent federal employees or security clearances from being denied based on past marijuana usage.

The Senate has passed a marijuana banking bill, which was renamed by a bipartisan group of Senators. However, a leading House member is refusing to bring the measure to his chambers if the Senate passes the measure.


  • It is noteworthy that Sen. Cory Booker, D-NJ–who had previously pledged to “lay down” in order to stop cannabis banking legislation from moving forward ahead of justice focused marijuana legalization –is an original sponsor of the SAFER Banking Act.

Missouri regulators have issued guidance on marijuana testing and the track and trace system.
