Top Things to Know

Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-GA, explained his reasoning for voting against a marijuana bank bill at a recent committee meeting. He said he was “trying” to help summon the will to combine justice and common sense to ensure everyone’s safety.

California activists started collecting signatures in preparation for a ballot initiative to be voted on in 2024. The initiative would create a $5 Billion State Psychedelics Agency that would fund and promote research into the therapeutic benefits offered by substances such as psilocybin or ibogaine.
