The Attorney General’s Office testified before a New Hampshire commission that was tasked with drafting legislation for legalizing marijuana in state-run shops. They discussed potential federal issues that may arise as a result of the plan.

Former Rep. Patrick Kennedy, (D-RI), is pushing President of the National Collegiate Athletic Association not to accept a recommendation by a committee to remove marijuana as a prohibited substance for student athletes.

A new sponsor has been added to the Senate marijuana banking bill, bringing its total to 31.

One new sponsor has been added to the Senate bill that regulates kratom.

The House marijuana banking legislation has gained one more co-sponsor, bringing the total to 86.

Three new co-sponsors have been added to the 69 total for the House bill that would legalize marijuana at federal level.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), said that he had questions about the state agency lending $20 million to a cannabis company located outside of Minnesota.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, (D), hailed the legalization of medical marijuana as one of his notable achievements.

The Joint Committee on Administrative Rules of the Missouri legislature discussed concerns regarding marijuana regulators’ guidelines and the scope rules they have issued.

Utah’s Senate Minority Leader said that she would re-file a bill in 2024 to legalize the medical use of Psilocybin.

Oklahoma lawmakers heard at a meeting of informal nature that they should seriously consider restricting the potency of medical cannabis.

The Ohio marijuana legalization initiative said that it will not disclose its advertising strategy before the November 7 ballot vote on its ballot measure, in light of “dark-money group” ads running in opposition.

Delaware’s top cannabis regulator speaks about efforts to launch a legal industry.

Massachusetts marijuana regulators publish an annual activity report.

California regulators have transferred data on marijuana manufacturing licenses and applications to a new database.

New Jersey regulators have approved more marijuana business licenses.
