New Hampshire Senators offer their opinions on the chances of passing a marijuana legalization bill passed by the House ahead of the Judiciary Committee’s 4/20 hearing on cannabis legislation.

Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) is considering changing its rules to codify the fact that “cannabis or cannabis-derived products are not classified as prohibited or forbidden substances”. Arkansas lawmakers sent Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ (R) bill would shift the medical cannabis tax revenues from supporting University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in its pursuit of National Cancer Institute recognition to address food insecurity and other public health needs.

The Illinois Senate has passed a law that prohibits courts from making marijuana or alcohol a condition for probation, conditional discharge, or supervision.

Oklahoma House Alcohol, Tobacco and Controlled Substances Committee has approved eight bills for the revision of medical cannabis rules.

The Alabama House Health Committee has approved a bill that will tax delta-8- and -10-THC products and limit sales to those over 21.

The Virginia Senate Rules Committee nominated members to the Cannabis oversight commission and other panels.

Nevada Assembly Judiciary Committee heard a bill that would increase the maximum fines for illegal marijuana trafficking and encourage whistleblowing regarding cannabis industry violations. Separately on Friday, regulators will host a workshop in order to collect comments on proposed cannabis regulation.

Colorado regulators have issued health and safety warnings about the potential dangers of mold, Aspergillus, and other impurities and yeast in marijuana.

Florida regulators have withdrawn a proposed hemp rule.

California regulators reminded marijuana businesses to report theft and criminal activity.

The New York Cannabis Advisory Board meets on Wednesday.
