Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine reiterated his opposition against the marijuana legalization measure on Tuesday’s ballot.
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a Democrat, tweeted that he had participated in an “in-depth discussion about the cannabis related proposals in our state budget and ways Colorado can improve public security and remain a cannabis leader.”
Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly (D), tweeted: “Medical marijuana in Arkansas has brought in over $23M so far this fiscal year.” Kansas should legalize medicinal marijuana to allow for more money to be spent on roads, schools and high-speed Internet while providing Kansans with the pain relief they need.
Florida’s Agriculture Commissioner reacted in response to a federal suit filed by a company challenging a court order that ordered it to stop selling products derived from hemp that were alleged to “be attractive to children.”
