The Department of Justice has filed a motion for dismissal of a lawsuit brought by the marijuana industry challenging federal prohibition. They claim that courts shouldn’t get ahead of an administration review of cannabis scheduling.
The Warren County District Attorney in Pennsylvania, who uses medical cannabis as per state law, filed a lawsuit to challenge the federal policy which criminalizes gun ownership by medical marijuana patients.
The New York Cannabis Control Board had planned to vote on Wednesday, more than a year since recreational retail sales began, on rules that would allow adults to grow marijuana at home. However, the meeting was cancelled on Tuesday night.
