A President Joe Biden proclamation declaring April “Second Chance Month for People Who Have Served Time in Prison” highlights the racially disparate enforcement of marijuana criminalization and its role in preventing access to education, jobs, and housing.

Kentucky agriculture commissioner candidates discussed marijuana and hemp policies.

Montana’s Senate and House approved two bills with differing provisions regarding how to allocate revenue from marijuana.

A New Jersey Assemblymember introduced a bill that would require police to release statistics about fatal car accidents involving marijuana.

Representative from Missouri expressed concern about the proposed psilocybin research and access bill.

Information about marijuana exonerations was posted by Rhode Island courts.

New York regulators missed another deadline to create a plan for cannabis economic and social equity. Separately, a top regulator discussed ongoing steps to launch the recreational cannabis market.
