Sen. John Cornyn, R-TX, said that Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Majority Leader of the Senate’s plan to pass a marijuana banking law and other legislation in the summer was “wishful-thinking” — he believes even Schumer himself doesn’t believe he will be able to accomplish it.

California Assembly Health Committee has approved a bill passed by the Senate to legalize possession psychedelics such as psilocybin DMT ibogaine mescaline. The committee also adopted an amendment that will initiate a study to establish a regulatory framework to facilitate therapeutic use of these drugs in facilitated settings.
