On Wednesday, the Senate Banking Committee will likely consider a number of amendments to a marijuana-banking bill. These include changes to broad banking regulations and marijuana reforms that focus on justice.

A bipartisan group of 66 New York legislators, or nearly a third of all the lawmakers in the state legislature, sent a letter to Gov. Kathy Hochul (D), to sign a law that would allow tribal cannabis retailers to buy products from marijuana farmers.
