The Ohio Secretary of State confirmed that activists had collected enough valid signatures for a marijuana legalization measure to be placed on the ballot in November.

The German cabinet has approved the first phase of the federal government’s plan to legalize marijuana. The next step is to send it to the Bundestag where the lawmakers will vote on the legalization of marijuana.

The California Assembly Appropriations Committee has advanced a bill that would legalize the possession of certain psychedelics into the suspense file. This is a crucial procedural step, which puts the Senate’s passed legislation only one step away from a vote on the Assembly floor.

California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development accepts applications for a $48 million marijuana tax-funded grant to help repair damage caused by the drug war.

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly (D), tweeted: “Three of the four surrounding states have legalized medical cannabis.” Legalizing medical cannabis would boost our economy, and provide relief for Kansans with severe illnesses.”

New Hampshire’s Senate President appointed members to a committee that will draft proposed legislation to legalize pot through a state-run store system.

New York Assembly Speaker said that it’s unlikely lawmakers would convene a session special to discuss marijuana business licensing.

North Dakota regulators have filed a change to the medical cannabis rules.

The family of a deceased Black farmer is challenging the decision by Florida regulators to deny him a license for medical cannabis.

Michigan regulators have published a report every month on the disciplinary measures taken against marijuana businesses.

The Colorado Retail Marijuana Public Health Advisory Committee meets on Monday.
